Even though, I looked for the perfect fusion combining pewter and basalt stone.
Description
Hiking along the rocky land of the Golan Heights, my husband was used to bring me basalt stones found on his trails.
I just needed to feel the connection and selected the one that inspired me.
I created this 3D sculpture using the pewter “Repousse” technique (embossing) over the basalt stone.
Brown patina, gold leaf and copper add depth and uniqueness to this meaningful work of art.
