My Approach

My topic is the covenant of the “Word” with the sensory manifestations as expressed in art, which is as old as the creation.
The Word involves symbols and universal values.
My work of art is the colloquy between the spiritual and the essence. The spiritual is in the information received to understand and to make the Word known. The essence is rooted in the experience of “doing”. Doing is living, learning and experimenting.

My work is further enriched by the meeting of my culture from the “Land of the Prophets,” the values of Buddhism and the ancient philosophy of Asia.

My root is the world. My stimulus is my faith. My goal is fulfillment.

Using old Buddhist Sanskrit written on palm leaves from the time of the Kingdom of Siam, old texts carved on wood blocks and printed on rice paper, unveiling the traits of the Chinese philosophy of Confucius, Hebrew texts written on “Mezuzah” parchments, with a mixed media of gold and sand, pewter and brass, on wood…..my work carries a message in the language of the beholder–the message of the “Word,” the heritage from the experience and knowledge of our forefathers, for us, the people who are willing to learn.

The Talmud says: “God created man to tell Him Stories….” My art is my story…
an introduction from the “Word” to the world.
