Description
These ancient writings are part of Confucius Analects “selected sayings” that inspired me to create this artwork. Confucius was a Chinese philosopher (475-221BC)
Chinese writings, on rice paper sheet, are surrounded by ancient sea-drift pieces of pottery found on the seashore of Caesarea, Israel. Gold leaves covered with brown patina and raw jute fiber from Thailand enriched this composition.
