Laminated embossed Pewter is set on a Golan basalt stone.
Description
I created this artwork on a laminated sheet of pewter using the “Repousse” technique.
I set it on the right basalt stone that matched my design, covering part of it.
Gold leaf, copper and black patina added depth and enhanced this 3D sculpture.
The malleable softness of the pewter joined to the powerful strength of the basalt stone created stability and steadfastness.
