S#129 Laminated embossed Pewter set on a Golan basalt stone.
The first thing that impressed me visiting the Golan Heights were the vast extensions of land covered with lava rocks. I felt immediately the connection .
Description
I could find the appropriate basalt stone that could carry my design.
I transferred it to the metal. The pewter “Repousse” technique (embossing), gave to this artwork, volume and power.
Brown patina, gold leaf and copper were added to my 3D sculpture.
