Stone Art S#139
It’s difficult to describe my emotion holding the appropriate stone that will carry my design.
I found it walking around in the Golan Heights : a dark grey basalt stone.
Description
I created this artwork coupling together pewter and basalt stone.
I transferred my design to laminated pewter using the “Repousse” technique. I embossed and carved it.
Black patina, gold leaf and some copper were added to achieve this work of art that you may hold in your hands and feel the power.
